The facelift for this generation of the Hyundai Verna was launched in India in March 2020.

Engines
The Hyundai Verna gets a 1.5-litre petrol motor, 1.5-litre diesel motor and a 1.0-litre turbo-petrol motor. The latter will be offered exclusively with a seven-speed DCT unit. The 1.5-litre petrol and diesel mills will be offered with six-speed manual transmission as standard while an IVT and six-speed AT will be available as an option.
Exterior design
The 2020 update gets a new bumper with a chrome mesh grille and round fog lamps in a triangular housing. Additionally, it gets a wide air dam in the lower section of the bumper complemented by sleek and sporty headlamps.
Interior and features
Feature highlights of the Hyundai Verna facelift include an electric sunroof, front ventilated seats, twin-tip exhaust, rear disc brakes, paddle shifters, BlueLink connectivity, eight-inch touchscreen infotainment system with HD display, cruise control, wireless charging and smart trunk.
Safety
The standard safety feature list comprises dual front airbags, ABS with EBD, reverse parking sensors, speed alert, driver and co-driver seat belt alert, central locking, impact sensing auto door unlock, front seat belt pre-tensioners, immobilizer, ISOFIX, dual horn and emergency stop signal. The top spec SX(O) variant gets six airbags.
